At DLSpeed, we must enact a certain level of professionalism in our work, and we have certain rules that we must ask you to follow when purchasing products from us in order to keep from certain legal repercussions on either of our parts. Please abide by these rules, and read through the following before making a purchase from our company. We will attempt to help you in any ways we can, but we will not take any direct responsibility for any errors that may occur during the installation of our product, unless we perform the installation ourselves.
If you elect to have a part installed by DLSpeed, Inc., and you notice that the product is not operating to it's optimum performance, you must notify us in writing (email or physical mailing) of the problem with 15 days of the installation date. If you do not report your problem within that time period, we cannot honor your request for a repair or replacement. We will still look at your problem for you, but depending on the severity of the problem, labor fees may apply.
The used parts that are sold through DLSpeedOnline.com were used strictly on our former project cars, and are certified to work similar to how they did when first purchased. We do not make our living by going to junkyards and finding aftermarket parts on wrecked vehicles and pulling them for our own gain. Every part you see was purchased by us new, and we are the only owners of the product. However, these parts are not covered in the same fashion as the other parts available on our site. By purchasing a used part from us as a significant retail markdown, you acknowledge the fact that these are used parts, and while they were working properly when pulled from our vehicles, the exact remaining lifespan of these items is unknown. They are carried by a 60 day warranty as mentioned in the paperwork with the item when delivered. All modifications made to the item have been noted. If at any time you have a problem with the product within the 60 day period after purchase, simply contact us and then send it back, and upon inspection and refund or exchange will be granted. Modifying these parts in any way will void the warranty expressed above. If we find that you have modified the part, either as a means of gaining an easier refund, or to try to make it perform better on your vehicle, and it malfunctioned as a result, no refund will be granted, and it will be at our discretion whether to send your part back to you or not.
While many of the products available for purchase are 50-state legal when dealing with emissions and height restrictions, many of our products are not. Many state and local vehicle regulations require that a vehicle’s distance between the ground and the headlamps must be a certain height, so check with local regulations before making your purchase. Modifying the exhaust system to remove the catalytic converter is also illegal in many, if not all, states, and should only be done if the vehicle is designed for track use. If the customer should incur a fine as a result of illegal modifications to their vehicle, DLSpeed, Inc., will not be held liable for providing an illegal means. All of our product is designed for OFFROAD Use, and installing performance parts with the means to do otherwise may result in a traffic fine or impounding of vehicles.
By purchasing a part from DLSpeed, Inc., you are signifying that we are in no way responsible, unless paid otherwise, for the installation of the purchased parts, and we are not responsible for customers doing damage to their vehicles during the installation of such parts. By purchasing from DLSpeed, Inc., you signify that you know what you are doing, or have made arrangement for someone else to install your product. Should damage be incurred, you are waiving your right to press any legal charges against DLSpeed, Inc., for your wrongdoing.
The DLSpeed, Inc., website incorporates a vast amount of product, and pricing flaws may occur from time to time. As a customer, it is imperative that you not attempt to take advantage of any pricing typographical errors that you may find, or to misuse our discount system. All of our transactions are screened before being processed, and if it is found that you used an improper means of placing your order, your transaction will be refused, and you may be incurred the full amount for the product that you attempted to purchase. If this act is repeated, customers may find their IP Address being blocked from accessing the website. DLSpeed, Inc., has the right to refuse sales to anyone, for any reason.
